Voices of Resilience
- Voices of Resilience is TAP’s second annual Community Impact Photovoice Exhibit. This year’s exhibit highlights the resilience and mental health stories within Frederick's diverse communities. Showcasing 99 pieces and 78 participants, voices are included in this exhibit. This exhibit showcases the power of visual storytelling to challenge stigma and promote inclusivity by featuring voices from AACF Immigrant Communities, Ukrainian Refugees, Hood Diversity Coalition, The Frederick Center youth, and more. Supported by funding from The Coalition for a Healthier Frederick's "From The Heart" Campaign, The Delaplaine Foundation, The Community Foundation of Frederick, and Frederick County, Voices of Resilience aims to amplify the strength and resilience of our community members. As you explore the images and narratives from the Asian American Center, the Frederick Center Youth, Islamic Society Youth, EXITO Youth, Frederick County Youth Council, Hood Diversity Coalition, Worldshine Seniors, Global Necessity, and Community of Grace's Mothers in Recovery, we invite you to reflect on the stories of courage and hope captured within each photograph. Join us in celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month and the power of visual storytelling to uplift and empower our communities.
